ANNALÙ – NEW TECHNIQUE
We are pleased to present “D-Collection”, the new capsule of exclusive limited edition artworks by the artist Annalù.
In the continuity of his emblematic “Dreamcatchers”, the artist now imagines new three-dimensional sculptures presented on a removable iron support.
Thanks to a complex system of centripetal forces, the crystal and glass paste mix with the mother-of-pearl, creating a spiral design evoking the shape of shells.
The word VAS derives from the Sanskrit root vas- meaning “to burn, to shine”. In the centre of the work, the explosion of resin creates a hole in the glass: a sort of “stargate” like a birth in the symbolic form of a flower.
