“LES ENFANTS DE LA PAIX” JAMES COLOMINA

On the night of February 8, two children appeared on Barcelona’s legendary ‘Rambla’. One wears a Jewish yarmulke, the other a Palestinian keffiyeh.
Holding hands, they stand in front of a white canvas depicting a heart made up of handprints painted in ‘Colomina red’.

“Children are the main victims of armed conflict. My thoughts go out to those affected” confides the artist.

A call for peace between peoples, the artist symbolically placed this sculpture in Barcelona, a city where the street-art influence is felt the world over.
