Job description:
 
Galeries Bartoux are looking for Art Sales Advisors M/F for their galleries in the historic location of Honfleur!
 
Reporting to the Gallery Managers, your tasks, if you accept them, will be as follows:
 
  • Welcoming customers, providing correct and clear information with a high level of service
  • Offer an exceptional and luxurious sales experience
  • Providing an excellent service by following up with each customer on delivery stages, administrative tasks and feedback on their gallery experience
  • Meet sales targets set by management
  • Be comfortable selling high value works of art
  • Customer Relationship Management, building strong relationships with high-end customer profiles
  • Commercial and administrative follow-up inherent in the Gallery’s activity
  • Supporting the Gallery’s internal organisation – Light Art handling may be required
  • Actively participate in the planning of events in collaboration with the Marketing Department
  • Support the day-to-day maintenance of the Gallery
 
Who we are looking for :
 
Graduated from a business school or BTS commercial, you are trained and comfortable with commercial techniques, with a minimum of 3 years sales experience in a luxury environment or in the Art industry.

  • – A sense of challenge, you will be able to make proposals to improve the Gallery’s performance
  • – A strong awareness of the art market and the luxury goods environment
  • – Excellent presentation skills
  • – You are motivated, dynamic, rigorous, positive and responsible
  • – You are versatile
  • – Excellent communication skills are a must (oral and written)
  • – Desire to work and invest in a team and a company with strong development potential
  • – Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • – Knowledge of basic IT tools is strongly recommended
  • – Perfect command of English is essential
  • – Knowledge of another foreign language is highly appreciated.
  • Above all, we’re looking for personality and sales skills!
