BOTERO IN MONACO
Galeries Bartoux is pleased to present you the exceptional exhibition “Botero in Monaco”.
From June 20th to July 31st, 2019, Galeries Bartoux pays tribute to this great artist. It has been more than 10 years since Fernando Botero was celebrated in the Principality. All the facets of the Master’s work are represented, paintings are shown with magnificent great compositions such as “Musicos y cantante”, drawings are shown with a beautiful series of still life and finally sculpture, that amateurs will be able to appreciate with the monumental bronze “Leda and the swan”.
For this exhibition, Galeries Bartoux has decided to support the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation by offering an emblematic drawing of the work of a Master “A Family” (2002). The artwork will be auctioned off for the benefit of the Sovereign Prince’s Foundation at the annual Grand Sale of the Hôtel des Ventes of Monte-Carlo in july.
