Biography
Patrick Hughes, born 1939 in Birmingham, England, is a British artist based in London.
He is the creator of “Reverspective”, an optical illusion on a three-dimensional surface where the parts of the work that seem furthest apart are in fact the closest together.
His work plays with perspective and distance, challenging and sometimes disorienting his audience.

The artist brings the same kind of humor to his very particular paintings, which probe the relationship between reality and representation in a way that destabilizes both.
