« J4 » BY BRUNO CATALANO AT HÔTEL DE PARIS

As every summer, Galeries Bartoux renews its artistic partnership with the Hôtel de Paris in Saint-Tropez. For the 2026 season, we are very pleased to present “J4”, an iconic bronze sculpture by Bruno Catalano.

Inaugurated in 1931, the Hôtel de Paris has established itself as a landmark venue, blending elegance with contemporary creation. Since its reopening in 2013, it has hosted artworks by carefully selected artists each summer.

“J4” is Bruno Catalano’s first monumental sculpture. It takes its name from a pier in La Joliette in Marseille, a city close to the artist’s heart. Through this sculpture, he explores the themes of travel, absence, and identity, which are signature elements of his work.
