True to our pioneering spirit, we will be launching a brand new concept in June 2025. In line with this dynamic, we are looking for curious, committed individuals with an appreciation for the art world.
Our new ART’CHIVES concept will embody a place of memory and sharing, dedicated to the rediscovery of works of art formerly exhibited in our galleries and now offered for sale in a privileged and luxurious setting. This space will house a selection of paintings, sculptures, and lithographs in an “art studio” setting, conducive to discovery and love at first sight. Close to Giverny, the cradle of Impressionist art, this project demonstrates our commitment to the transmission of art. It extends our history, which began in Honfleur, while affirming our international influence.
JOB DESCRIPTION
To kick off this project, we are looking for Sales Advisors (M/F) for its opening scheduled for mid-June 2025. We are offering a 6-month fixed-term contract initially, with the possibility of a permanent contract.
Are you passionate about art and decoration, driven by a commercial spirit, and keen to explore an original world far removed from traditional commerce? Become an art advisor, art storekeeper, or customer relations manager, while benefiting from training provided by our seasoned professionals.
Reporting to the Sales Director, your duties, if you accept, will be as follows:
- Welcoming customers, providing accurate and clear information with a high level of service
- Delivering an exceptional sales experience
- Providing excellent service by following up with each customer on delivery, administrative tasks and feedback on their in-store experience
- Achieving sales targets set by management
- Customer relationship management, building strong relationships
- Sales and administrative follow-up
- Support the internal organisation of the store – Some light handling of art may be required
- Actively participate in event planning in collaboration with the Marketing department
- Support the daily maintenance of the store.
We have an integration system for new employees in the form of mentoring, offering training in contemporary art and sales techniques specific to the Galeries Bartoux group. You will therefore benefit from personalised support to help you succeed within our team.
Desired profile:
A graduate of a business school or with a BTS in sales, you are trained and comfortable with sales techniques, with at least 3 years’ experience in sales in a retail, luxury or premium luxury environment.

- Excellent presentation skills
- You are motivated, dynamic, rigorous, positive and responsible
- You are versatile
- Excellent communication skills are essential (spoken and written)
- Desire to work and invest yourself in a team and a company with strong growth potential
- Availability to work flexible hours, weekends and public holidays
- Knowledge of basic IT tools is highly recommended
- Fluent English is essential
- Knowledge of another foreign language is highly appreciated.
We are primarily looking for personality and sales skills!

Type of employment: Full-time, fixed-term contract, permanent contract
Remuneration: From £2,500 gross to £4,000 gross.
Fixed salary + bonuses based on monthly sales targets.
Hours:
• Available at weekends
• Daytime work
• Work on public holidays
