Gianluca Corona

Gianluca Corona is an Italian realist painter born in Milan in 1969, where he still lives and works. After graduating from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in 1991, he trained in Mario Donizetti’s studio in Bergamo. From the outset, he established himself as one of the leading figures of the Italian figurative revival.

Inspired by the masters of the 16th and 17th centuries, he revisits still life and portraiture with finesse, combining traditional techniques with a contemporary perspective. His works, exhibited in Italy and internationally, feature in numerous public and private collections. They also illustrate CD covers for Musicmedia.

His work has been praised by eminent Italian critics, affirming his central role in the contemporary art scene.
