Biography
Born on June 8, 1999, in Pinar del Río, Cuba, Pablo Fernández Jr. grew up in an artistic environment and developed an early passion for drawing and hyperrealism. Trained at the San Alejandro Academy in Havana, he now exhibits internationally and lives in Miami.
Through his hyperrealistic portraits, the artist seeks to go beyond the simple representation of reality to reveal human emotion. The gaze plays a central role in his work, where Realism, Pop Art and Surrealism come together to create a distinctive visual language.
Pablo Fernández Jr. combines digital creation with traditional painting. His compositions are first imagined and developed digitally before being transferred onto canvas, primarily in oils. Through meticulous attention to light, skin tones and detail, he gives his subjects a striking sense of presence.
