Job Description

Galeries Bartoux is currently looking for Art Sales Advisors (M/F) for its galleries in the historic location of Cannes.

We are offering an initial 6-month fixed-term contract (CDD), with the possibility of moving to a permanent contract (CDI) if the collaboration proves successful.

Reporting to the Gallery Managers, your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming clients and providing clear, accurate information while delivering a high level of service
  • Offering an exceptional and luxurious sales experience
  • Providing excellent follow-up service by supporting each client through delivery stages, administrative tasks, and feedback regarding their gallery experience
  • Achieving sales targets set by management
  • Being comfortable selling high-value artworks
  • Managing client relationships and building strong connections with high-end clientele
  • Handling commercial and administrative follow-up related to gallery activities
  • Supporting the gallery’s internal organization (light artwork handling may occasionally be required)
  • Actively participating in the planning of events in collaboration with the Marketing department
  • Supporting the daily maintenance and presentation of the gallery

Profile Required

You hold a business school degree or a commercial BTS diploma, and you are trained and comfortable with sales techniques, with at least 3 years of sales experience in a luxury environment or within the art industry.

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)
  • A strong desire to work and grow within a team and a fast-developing company
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Basic computer skills are strongly recommended
  • Fluency in English is mandatory
  • Knowledge of another foreign language is highly appreciated
