Biography – MISS TIC
As an essential artist of Urban Art, Miss Tic haunts the facades of the city like the walls from our imagination.
Since 1985, she takes over Paris, the world’s most beautiful gallery and makes her “song of actions”, she infuses a poetic and free spray. Her works are for everyone and abolish the separation between exhibition and artwork. She gives seing and reading by making art accessible.
Parisian artist, both elegant and popular, she paints all imaginable poses feminine silhouettes and glamorous. Concise and punchy sentences accompany the drawings based on a subtle mix of lightness and gravity, reckless and provocative.
Through her stencils, which supports are multiple, Miss Tic plays simultaneously on the intimate and the public, with humor and lucidity.
Presents in galleries and public spaces, she mixes in her work perennial and ephemeral interventions.
For 30 years now, Miss Tic alternates solo and group shows, international fairs, business orders, institutions (Victoria & Albert Museum, Ingres’ Museum and MUCEM acquired her works).
Claimed by the fashion world (Kenzo, Louis Vuitton, Longchamp, Lamarthe…), she continues to attract crowds with her poestry and her impertinent characters affixed to the wall of cities.
